FESTIVAL GLOW

THE PERFECT FESTIVAL LOOK

I absolutely loved my make up for last weekends WeAreFSTVL, and it made me think there is just not enough festivals in the year for all the looks I want to create! I think festivals are the perfect excuse to use face gems, glitters, and heaps of glow! There are loads of photos online with the most amazing make up for festivals, but I know what your thinking, I too look at them and just think HOW? and think could I really get away with that?

For example, how perfectly amazing is this look? But I'll be the first one to admit that I just would not look like that in that same make up! So start simple, get yourself some face gems, some glitter and highlighter, and create that festival look without going over the top and without stepping outside of your comfort zone.

So this is the look I come up with, I didn't really get enough photos, but I placed one gem under my lower lash line on each eye, which is no effort at all, but I felt it made the look really festival! I started this look by first thinking about a colour palette, which is what I do before starting any look, and I always like to match up with the outfit I am wearing, so naturally I opted for a pink eye. Now it's a festival, so I would always go for a really glittery look, not just a metallic eyeshadow, I'm talking really stand out glitter!

I done most of my eye look using the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, working there matte light pinks working up to a darker mauve colour in the crease, I wanted to cut the crease, but now too dramatically. I did this by applying my crease colours, and once finally done, I used my MAC Paint Pot (Soft Ocre) and a shader brush and patted this on my lids but using the cream product to make a clear defined, unblended line between my lid and crease. From this I applied the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Liner (Gold Shade) all over the lid, making sure it did not go in the crease. The product I was using was gold, and I wanted to make it pink so I took the pink shimmer shades in the Naked 3 Palette, and patted the product on top of the Heavy Metal Gold Glitter before it dried so I could mix the product making it a pink glitter! After everything I applied my crease colours softly along my lower lash line, and then applied one face gem, which I bought in a pack of all different colours from Claires, and stuck one under each eye. These lasted all day, they did not fall off, and I didn't even use any other glue, just the pre glue that was already on!

FACETOX Review

DETOX? NO, FACETOX!

I love face masks, however the only ones I have ever really tried are Lush ones (which are amazing!) but I was really excited to try Face Tox as I loved the idea of detoxing your skin, and also the whole concept of mixing it all yourself was really appealing to me. The whole kit is £24.99 for what they call a "7 Day Supply",  I would call it a 7 week supply!

You mix one ratchet of 100% Rose Water and one sachet of the clay and mix them together, to form a paste, in the mixing bowl. You are not going to use this whole "1 Day Supply" in one go, so put clingfilm over the bowl (so it doesn't dry out) and it can last up to 7 days, one week later I have only just opened my second pair of sachet's!

So, does it work? In one word, yes

You have to leave the mask for 30 minutes on your skin, and I wouldn't recommend going over this time as it is very intense and can become very uncomfortable if you let it dry into your skin for too long. It is quite difficult to remove from your skin, but if it wasn't you wouldn't see the results you do. Straight away my skin had a new texture, and last month I had a few breakouts which this mask completely healed, like magic! The best part about this mask is I really feel like they have prevented any acne from coming back, I've got loads of products to treat spots, but this is one of the only things I have that actually prevents imperfections from coming, instead of just treating them once they are there! I always put it on 30 minutes before a bath or shower, so I can remove it that way, it is a lot easier for me, I do this with most face masks.

Pat your face dry very lightly after, and I promise you your skin will feel silk smooth straight after. I love doing this at night, so my skin can reap the benefits over night, instead of caking make up on top. It really cleanses your skin, literally their will be no ounce of dirt on your face or in your pores at all, that is why it is best to do when the day is done.

I would definitely recommend this product, for £24.99 it is going to last you so much longer then the tin says, so in that way it is such good value for money. I promise you it won't be a disappointment! Check their Instagram @facetoxuk, they have loads of information and videos to help you get a really good idea of the product!

KYLIE COSMETICS LIP GLOSS REVIEW

LIKE, LITERALLY, SO CUTE!

I was so excited to receive these after enjoying her original lip kits so much, however I have mixed feelings about the glosses, I do like them but I think there is definitely room for improvement. First of all, I love the colours, they are brilliants and the formula is beautiful, not sticky at all!

My main issue with this product is the applicator, I don't know why Kylie would not just have a normally dome applicator like her lip kits! A dome applicator is perfect for packing product onto your lipS, but more importantly it helps control where the product is going, as well as being able to use the product and applicator to define your lips, and perfectly apply in the outline of your lips!

This really lets the product down as it makes it very hard to apply neatly, and all the hairs separate and looks so messy and apply the gloss all over your face by the time you are done applying! After being so taken back by the quality of the wands I decided to look online to see if this bothered anyone else, as I really can't see how anyone can be happy with this... I found many complaints, and it's nice to know I am not the only one. Kylie has seen all the complaints and has made the brush hairs shorter, so it is still the same concept, just a bit less messy I suppose, however it is upsetting that those who waited up all night for the launch of these glosses are the ones suffering, and the ones who are now stuck with this unacceptable applicator! I also think she should consider changing the wands to the exact same as the lip kits as it is a pigmented gloss that needs to be applied like the lip kits. I was a little bit disappointed in most beauty bloggers as I only found Jeffree Star to be the only one to speak out about the unacceptable quality of these brushes, if you follow Kylie on snapchat you would've seen she hosted a huge lunch for the launch of these glosses, with all the most famous beauty bloggers, I feel like that might have had an influence on their reviews of this product, as there is no way make up gurus such as Carli Bybel, Amrezy, etc. could find this acceptable.

In total, with customs charge and shipping to the UK, for all 3 glosses it cost me £55! It was £40 but unfortunatley every now and again customs do charge you, so £55 it is. I think the price is fair, it is a very pigmented gloss so you do not need lipstick underneath which I am not use to, and love! The formula and colours are both really nice, and in that sense I am extremely pleased with this product, however as I said the applicator is a big turn off for me and you have to be so careful when applying! The product stays glossy for a while, it never bothers me when I have to reapply lipgloss but thankfully I don't have to bare re application of this gloss too much, thank god for the long wearing of this product because I couldn't stand the difficulty of applying the product neatly too much in one day!

From right to left the swatches are Like, Literally, So Cute so as you can see the colours are beautiful and well chosen. Literally and So Cute mixed is my absolute favourite, but if I had to choose one shade alone Literally would be my top pick! What do you think of the Kylie Jenner Lip Glosses? The new applicator comes with the next launch!

FULL DRUG STORE MAKE UP LOOK

BUDGET BEAUTY

Who doesn't love great beauty products, without the high end price? I recently have found some really good, comparable products on the high street, and decided to do a full make up look based upon them!

First brand I have to mention is Make Up Revolution it can be found in super drug, and is just amazing! On my eyes I used the Ultra Professional Flawless Matte Eyeshadow Palette. They shadows were fairly pigmented for the price you pay, but what I loved most is the texture of these shadows, they are really easy to blend out. My liner is my all time favourite,  Maybeline Eye Studio Lasting Drama! Also from Make Up Revolution is one of my favourite highlighters to use, and this is in the Golden Sugar Palette! Seriously, if you don't already have this palette, please go buy it, it is amazing!

Base wise I used a primer I am loving, even over my MAC Strobe Cream, being the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer, it is beautiful! Foundation applies so flawlessly on top, and it makes the skin feel so smooth. The foundation I used was L'Oreal Lumi Maquie, which I still am undecided, there is very few drugstore foundations I like. I can just tell a difference on my skin, I like flawless, high coverage that a lot of high end brands offer. However, this foundation would be beautiful for someone who wants something sheer, lightweight and dewy for day time, it is a beautiful foundation, however it isn't very high coverage at all. If your like me foundation wise and really struggle to find a drugstore foundation that is right for you, I don't think Boujours Healthy Mix or L'oReal True Match could fail anyone!

To highlight my under eyes I used my LA Girl Pro Conceals, I have a contouring post on these beauties, but I would definitely recommend these to everyone, they are such great concealers. I love them for contouring, brightening, concealing problem areas, they are just all round a great product!
To contour I used my KIKO Bronzer Powder in Shade 101, this is a really nice, warm shade. It is very natural, it is going to lightly contour, giving a sun kissed look, as apposed to a bold contour, which I love, but not for me everyday! I wanted to keep the face subtle, so decided to opt for my Sleek Blush in Coral 933, which I love love love this shade!

On my lippies is my all time favourite Lip Liner by Rimmel in the shade Cappuccino and my all time favourite lipstick, also my first ever lipstick owned, Rimmel Lasting Finish in Shade 700!

My lashes are of course Ardell Wispies, these lashes never ever fail me. They re great for day and night, if you haven't tried you definitely should! I am yet to find a killer brow product from the drugstore, but am on the hunt, and would love to hear of any you like!

CLINIQUE 2 IN 1 BEYOND PERFECTING FOUNDATION REVIEW

CLINIQUE 2 IN 1 BEYOND PERFECTING FOUNDATION REVIEW

I haven't reviewed a foundation in a while, yet have tried so many different ones lately, but I really wanted to review this one for you all as it is quite an interesting foundation. The Clinique 2 in 1 Beyond Perfecting Foundation, retails for around £24, and claims to be a 2 in 1 foundation and concealer. I love full coverage foundations, so was dying to try this, also the concept is quite interesting, as they have basically mimicked a concealer, with a dome applicator for the foundation, which I quite enjoy. You can apply the product so easily, and more precisely to certain areas where you would like more coverage, which is really good!

Overall, I love the foundation and will repurchase this when I run out, however I have owned this for a while and only recently started loving this. At the beginning of the year I went through a few months where my skin was just terrible, it was a literally like a 3 month break out! I still am extremely unsure as to why, but thankfully it is all is gone and clear now. During this time, I found the foundation covered the redness of the blemishes so well, however it is a lovely dewy foundation, which I love, but this did not work with spots and it made the texture of my skin shine through, and that was not a good look. Obviously foundation can only cover discolouration in the skin, they can't hide bumps on the skins texture that acne break outs cause, however if you do have this problem you are probably better looking for more matte foundations, or foundations that especially are good for skin problems like that. I found Chanel Perfection Lumiere was quite a good foundation, and some others I discovered, but that's another blogpost, and if you would wish to see I always check the email requests you send me!

A little bit goes a long way, which I love, I think this foundation will definitely last a long, long time before it runs out! The dome application is so handy, some foundations to have applicator like this, but not actual fluffy flocks that mimics concealer brushes, this also mens we can get every bit out before we throw it away (always a bonus)! The finish is like a satin, dewy finish, which is lovely, for this time of year especially. It is a full coverage, yet looks so natural on the skin, you really feel like your skin can breath in this foundation.

This foundation last's so well on the skin, it lasts literally 12 hour days! It is amazing. I would really suggest taking your time blending it into the skin, I buff this in with a buffing brush, and then dab my face over with a beauty blender. Foundations like these look amazing on skin, but if not blended well, it can be a disaster. During my breakout I would pat the product in with a beauty blender trying to be careful and achieve full full coverage, but it didn't work well on the skin at all, so now I make sure it is blended really well into skin. If you want more coverage on your skin, just blend it really well and build it up with other layers as the you do not want this foundation to sit on top of your skin. However, I would always suggest you buff all foundations well into your skin, but this foundation isn't as forgiving as others if not properly blended.

This is now my go to foundation, and I would recommend to all skin types, I would say those with oily skin should make sure the foundation is well set, and those with acne should be careful with this foundation too, but other then that the foundation is flawless.

GO TO CONTOURING ROUTINE

GO TO CONTOURING ROUTINE
STEP BY STEP GUIDE

My last contouring post was nearly a year ago, and it is still to this day accumulates so many views on a daily basis, so I thought I would update you all on my favourite way to contour! I have many contouring products I love, but these are my go to, holy grails, that I really would suggest for everyone.

I like to start contouring after I have finished my eye make up, as you can really sharpen your eyes with your under eye concealer, also any fall out from your eyeshadow during application isn't going to affect your under eye concealer, as we will wipe it away before we begin, rather then wiping it off our already perfect under eye concealer!

So here I've just done my eyes, brows and base, skin wise I am only wearing foundation... Our skin needs some life, our skin needs a contour. So let's start with my favourite, go to, under eye highlight which is MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15.

With my beauty blender, I dab the product under my eyes, the middle of my forehead and my chin, these are all areas I want to highlight. If you have a larger forehead, that you want to contour to look smaller, I would suggest less concealer in the middle of your forehead, and more bronzer around the border and bring it down a little lower to create the illusion of a smaller forehead. I blend this out using my beauty blender with dabbing motions, do not wipe with a brush or any type of blender because your going to loose the brightness, it will blend in too much with your foundation underneath otherwise.
So the right pictures shows us what the skin looks like with just foundation and a brightening concealer, there is no bronzer applied as of yet, but already the contrast of your foundation and underage concealer it creating the illusion of a more chiseled cheekbone.

Now let's contour and bronzer our face! I like to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit, I love a cream highlight and a powder contour, as I feel powder contours are more controllable and they dry matte of course because of the nature of the product, I find creams can be quite reflective which is not what I want when trying to create the illusion of a shadow below my cheekbone! So I go into the middle contour shade, with my NARS Itsa Brush, as this has a grey undertone, this is great for creating them shadows.

(Excuse my face, these are the faces I genuinely pull when contouring to really get an idea of where I want to apply the product)
I like to bring my contour all the way down as it creates the illusion of a skinnier face when looking head on, not just cheekbone definition from the side! Don't be scared, we need to blend!

Now I just go in with the more bronze shade, with a fluffy Eco Tools brush, and blend out our shadow contour and bronze the face! This is a really important step!

Now, let's BAKE!
This is a step I have only very recently got into, I use to just set my under eye concealer with the powders in the ABH Contour Kit, however now I am a hardcore baker. Using the Chanel Translucent Powder, I fold the puff it comes with, and apply loads of products over my concealed areas.

So the left picture is how it will look on your face, I also use this powder to carve out my contour! After about two minutes I take this fluffy brush by Sigma, and just brush away all the excess powder, this step will ensure you a bright highlight that is set for the whole day, it also looks flawless and will prevent any ceasing, especially under the eye.

& here is the final result!

None of these photos have been edited with any filters, so you can see a true reflection of what each shade is like, I really would recommend all the products mentioned today, as well as beauty blender if you want to kick start an amazing contour!

WHAT TO WEAR IN-BETWEEN SEASONS

HOW TO DRESS IN-BETWEEN SEASONS

So, here it is, the hardest time of the year for your wardrobe, the transitional period between winter and summer that leaves us all confused with what to wear. I have been sat here all day picking outfits for the weekend, which normally would not phase me, but I realised how difficult it is to pick appropriate outfits for this difficult time of year!

So it's not quite summer, but we should not just assume it is still winter outside... It's spring, and we should slowly be introducing more summery stuff into our wardrobes without taking it too far.

First, transitional fave is a distressed pair of jeans, I love a ripped pair of jeans for this period, it add's a spring/summer touch without requiring us to freeze! I've bought many distressed jeans, but my all time favourites are these Missguided ones shown below. They are so comfy, I've got a lot of my friends loving them, it's rare to find a high waisted distressed jeans, what I would say is they do come up very big!

So let's start with the shirt dresses, these are great for that in-between season look as they can be worn in summer and winter. I like to pair a shirt dress with a leather jacket and a pair of ankle boots or knee highs, to balance out the look appropriately.

Now let's talk about the Leather Jacket, we all need one, especially at this difficult time, this is your saviour. It's not so cold that we need a heavy duty coat outside, however it's not warm enough to brave the outside world with no jacket... so here comes the perfect, essential leather jacket. I love all biker jackets all year round, and I have made sure I have one in every colour possible to see me through anything, coloured biker jackets can really make an outfit!

Here are some great finds from Misguided they are so appropriate for this difficult time of year, and I own these myself, they are very lightweight and perfect for spring. The colours are perfect as well as they are not so bright like you are rushing into summer, however they are not so dull to the point where you are stuck in the dark winter. These are also great lightweight jackets to see you through the summer as well!

Let's talk shoes, don't be pulling the sandals out just yet, here are some great transitional shoes to see you through this period, as well as the summer.
You may have seen these on my Instagram, they are from ALDO! I love love love them, they are so comfy and perfect for this time of year. The chunky heel and ankle boot structure makes them still a little wintery, however the lace up detail and the peep toe makes them great for summer. I'm on the hunt for these in most colours because I love a bit of a heel at all times, and these are just so comfy. These ALDO ones are around £70, however these are slowly coming out on the high street, I have seen some on Public Desire and Forever 21!

Other great shoes for the transitional period are pastel coloured loafers, I love my Extravaganzas from Office, I bought them in Nude and Pale Grey last year, however they have bought new design's out this year (shown above) which are also suitable, and so on trend!

EYESHADOW DO'S & DONT'S

DO'S & DONT'S
THE TRICKS TO FLAWLESS EYESHADOW

Eyeshadow is my favourite part when it comes to doing my make up, however it can be very easily ruined in such silly ways, so I have listed some simple eyeshadow do's and dont's when it comes to applying you shadow. We all want flawlessly blended eyeshadow, with no harsh lines, so here is just how to achieve that.
______________________________________________________

My first tip is, DON'T neglect your eyes when it comes to priming before your shadow, a good base will make sure your eye shadow lasts all day, the product will blend more smoothly on a good base, and also you will see a better colour pay off from your shadow. This brings us to our first DO which would be to use a good eyeshadow primer, I like the Urban Decay Primer Potion, but my all time fave would be my Mac Soft Ocre Paint Pot. Concealers also work as good bases too and a good base is going to also cover any discolouration on your eyelids.

Next, once you've applied your base, DON'T go in with any old colour in your crease, the base at this moment is sticky, therefore product is going to clingy at first and become hard to blend. This may cause patchiness, which may become hard to blend. This brings me to my second DO which would be to apply a light matte eyeshadow all over the lid, so the colour your about to blend into your crease will blend more flawlessly.

Also, if you have't already guessed, another DO would be to always begin your eyeshadow working shadow into the crease, DON'T start on your lid colour, as eyeshadow is lighter on the lid, compared to the crease, and you don't want to be blending your lid colour into your crease, especially if it is a shimmer, you want to keep your crease matte.

So we've started to blend colour into our crease, after applying a matte lid colour eyeshadow on top of our base, now what? Let's work some colour into our crease! I would most definitely say DON'T start with a dark crease colour, this will become hard to blend, and will look very harsh. Please DO build up your colour, so start with lighter, matte neutrals and work your way up to the darkest colour you would like to use in your crease.

When it comes to using dark colours in your crease, DON'T use a dark colour along the whole of your crease, DO try and focus the darkest colour on the outer corner, if you blend a black or dark shadoww along your whole crease, in the inner part of your eye, it is going to look like a swollen, black eye, which isn't the look we are going for, I would recommend a smaller blending brush when it comes to dealing with dark colours, and using small amounts of product, as we can always add more, but we can't take product away once we have applied it!

So let's pack some product onto our lid, DON'T use a fluffy blending brush of any sort to apply lid shadow, you will ruin everything you have just achieved in your crease, and a fluffy brush is for blending eyeshadow, therefore you are not going to get the colour pay off you are expecting on your lid, especially when it comes to shimmer. So DO pick up a synthetic eyeshadow brush, which is made for packing on product to the lid, such as a Sigma E55 or any brush similar shaped. When applying your lid colour DO try to push the product low, you don't want it getting into your crease, you've got the right brush, but you must use the right technique. I always wet my lid brush with MAC Fix + to achieve amazing colour pay off for my lid colour, making most shimmers metallic, which looks lovely on the lid with a nicely blended, gradient like crease!

A massive DON'T is to never ever neglect the lower lash line, we have packed so much product onto the top of our eyes, to leave the under eyes bare would look to top heavy, and uncompleted. I always like to take my crease colour, and just blend it smoothly on my lower lash line with any pencil brush. This will finish the look, but DO make sure it is blended flawlessly. When doing this, like your crease, DON'T blend that dark colour along the whole lower lash line, because again we are not going for the black eye look, like the crease just blend it nicely, lighter as we go in and DO try and finish with a little shimmer in your tear duct, this will awaken the eyes! I would also apply that same shade on my brow bone to complete the look!

When doing a heavy eye make up look, you are going to get a lot of fall out, this is where product can fall down onto your face, DON'T assume this can be covered with concealer, it can't it will ruin your make up. I always start with my eyes when it comes to heavy eyeshadow looks, or I find myself doing just my foundation and eyebrows, then eyes, then completing the rest of my face! DO dust away your fall out, or use shadow shields, just make sure it doesn't stay on your face!

______________________________________________________

I hope you have enjoyed today's post, in no way am I saying these are the rules to eyeshadow, there are no rules in make up, this is just what works for me and I see as good tips!

MORPHE 35W PALETTE

MORPHE 35W PALETTE

This brand is very popular in America, and when I noticed that BeautyBay stock Morphe I just had to try something out! Everyone raves about their eyeshadow palette "35O", It is BEAUTIFUL and I am yet to get my hands on it, so I picked up the 35W (35 Warm) Palette for just £15.95! I was stunned at the price as you get 35 shadows for just £15.95? I thought maybe to good to be true, but I just love this palette!

This palette is great for everyday use, I wouldn't really use this palette if I was going somewhere special as I love crazy pigmented, dramatic shadows for then, however this is amazing for everyday as it is so soft and natural. The colours are quite pigmented, especially for the price, however I did find that some shadows were more pigmented then others. Here are the swatches from top to bottom row...

So as you can see, some shadows are more pigmented then others. However, I find that works really well, the glittery ones are more pigmented, and the transitional shades and other shadows you are more likely to blend into the crease aren't as pigmented but for that reason they are very easy to blend. I love this palette for as you can achieve so many looks from just one palette, it has your browns, your pinks, your oranges, your golds, your greys and blacks... Such a versatile palette!

I will be posting every weekday at 6pm from now on, thank you for reading!

NEW BRAND ALERT: KIKO

KIKO COSMETICS

So, not really a new brand but a new brand to me, KIKO Cosmetics!
a new store opened near me this week, and I was so excited to dive in, and it's fair to say I bought a lot. I hadn't heard too much about this brand, only that their water eyeshadows are amazing so obviously I bought one...

In the Water Eyeshadow I bought Shade 200, which as you can see by the picture is so beautiful and such a me shade! The pigmentation is absolutely amazing, and I will be rushing back to get all the other shades I liked.

Next I made my way to their Lipsticks & I loved their Stylo Lipsticks and bought Shade 04 & 14, both shades I just love! 04 is a coral pink, unlike anything I own, and 14 is the perfect nude! They dry quite matte which surprised me as they apply so creamy, but I am really liking these so far.

I had to buy corresponding Lip Liners of course, unfortunately they didn't have style names at the bottom, but one is very ,such matching to Shade 14 lipstick and the other is a dupe for MAC Spice.

Next, I thought I'd try their Brow Pencil, which I love the formula but bought the complete wrong shade, I don't know what I was thinking! Finally, I purchased 2 of their bronzing powders... One in a grey cool tone shade, great for creating a shadow for contouring, and next a more tan shade to bronze up my complexion!

I definitely think this brand is one to watch, it's good quality make up for surprisingly very reasonable prices! You can find them online if you do not have a store near you!

5 MAKE UP MUST HAVES FOR UNDER £10

5 MAKE UP MUST HAVES FOR UNDER £10

The high street has seriously been impressing me lately with the types of make up they have on offer now, and high street brands are becoming a lot becoming a lot more aware of the high end brands and have started to dupe almost everything! New brands such as Make Up Revolution and Freedom are doing this perfectly, so I would definitely reccomend these two brands, but my 5 make up must haves for under £10 are...

1. Make Up Revolution Blush Palette: Golden Sugar
This palette is hands down my favourite, go to, highlight! I use it everyday without fail, I wouldn't consider it a blush pallette as there is one shade I sometimes use for contour and the rest are all shimmery, and they make the perfect highlight. Unlike a lot of highlighters, the product blends into your skin so nicely, it doesn't just look like it's simply sitting on the surface of your skin! I will be doing a full review on this palette next week as it is one of my favourite things from my whole collection.
£6 Make Up Revolution @ Superdrug

2. RIMMEL Wake Me Up Mascara
I've tried so many mascaras & I always come back to Rimmel. I like all Rimmel mascaras but this one is my favourite, it coats the lashes evenly, individually and has the most amazing, almost like watermelon, smell!
£5.59 RIMMEL @ Superdrug, Boots, ASOS, etc.

3. L'oReal True Match Foundation
By far my favourite drug store foundation, along with Boujours Healthy Glow, but this foundation I would consider a must have! It reminds me so much of one of my favourite foundations which is YSL Fusion Ink! & the shade range is just amazing, literally any skin colour in the world they have covered!
£9.99 L'oReal @ Superdrug and Boots

4. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Shade 700
This is my holy grail, favourite lipstick, I always have 4 in my collection at all times, so I have one always in my handbag, one always in my make up drawers and one spare for when I run out! It is the perfect nude for me, I love nudes with an orange tinge, it is exactly like MAC Freckletone (which I also love!)
£6.49 RIMMEL @ Superdrug, Boots, etc.

5. RIMMEL Liner in 'Cappuccino'
Everyone needs this liner in there life, the shade is perfect, it's lasting power isn't quite up there with say MAC liners, but is still very good and the shade is unlike any other, and I personally do not mind reapplying my lipliner every so often!
£2.99 RIMMEL @ Superdrug, Boots, etc.

It is definitely fair to say my make up collection seriously benefitted this christmas, and I was so pleasantly surprised with all the make up I received, when I did not really give any of my friends or family any guidance as to what I wanted.

So starting with the NAKED Smokey Palette which I have wanted for a while, but never thought to buy as I have SO many palettes, including all of the other Urban Decay NAKED Palettes so I never really felt the need, but since Christmas day there has not been a day I haven't reached for it!

Next is the YOUNIQUE 3D Fibre Lash Mascara which I use to own the first version of this, which I did like, but found myself only reaching for the gel step which was so so good, but not really coating that with Fibre as I didn't really want the clumpy look. but I am definitely excited because I use to love the gel because it would extend every individual lash, but am going to try the new fibre out for definite!

Chanel Perfection Luminare Foundation this smells so beautiful, but I am undecided whether this foundation is as amazing as I thought it would be, I'm definitely not someone who would let the sheer brand of the bottle determine my thoughts, so I am still testing this out but at the moment am loving L'oReal True Match!

MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ocre, I honestly don't know how I applied eyeshadow without this as a base!

Chanel Soleil De Tan Universal this is something I have repurchased twice now, I've always got to have it in my kit, I love love love it! Perfect for face and body, as well as the fact it literally lasts FOREVER.

Freedom Correct & Conceal Palette again, have not really tried too much but I have heard nothing but good things about it and am excited to give this a go!

NARS Translucent Powder I'm not really into powders as I love a dewy foundation look, but I am really loving this as it is very lightweight and doesn't feel cakey on the face.

NARS Creamy Concealer in 'Custard' so owned this nearly 2 weeks and it is already my holy grail! Everyone go buy it, Kylie Jenner uses this when she could buy every single concealer in the world... Theres a reason this is her top choice!

Finally, something I'm really excited about is the original Make Up Eraser! You literally dampen it and use it as a flannel and it removes all your make up, and has been really good with my skin lately as I recently has a bad experience with a Clarisonic so have been dealing with the worst allergic reaction on my face so this really helps keep my skin clean as well as smoothing the surface!
